Would you like to easily be able to share information with your patients at the click of a button?

North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network has 50 complimentary GoShare Healthcare licences, that will provide interested general practices with free access for six months.

Background

Providing evidence-based information to your patients can improve self-management and empower people to play a more active role in their healthcare. GoShare is a platform to help general practices share health resources that are tailored to the patient’s needs.

The platform is easy to use and customisable. It allows practices to send information to one or multiple patients by SMS or email.

How could your practice use this platform to help patients?

You can provide information in an engaging format that is suitable for that patient, using a factsheet, an animated video or a patient experience video. You can use SMS* or email to actively “push” important information out to patients.

*Practices will need to purchase SMS packs from GoShare separately if they wish to use this SMS feature.

  • COVID-19 information packages: Send important information out to high-risk patients, to help them prevent or recognise the symptoms of COVID-19. These packs are available in 10 languages.
  • Chronic disease education: Schedule practical information to be distributed over time intervals to patients managing their chronic disease or comorbidities. This includes a range of topics such as: diabetes, osteoarthritis, heart disease, COPD, arthritis, cancer, and pain management.
  • Cancer screening participation reminders (bowel, breast and cervical): Send patients who are about to turn 50 years old information about the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program kit (a patient story, an animation on how to use the kit and a fact sheet) with the goal of increasing participation.
It’s easy to put together GoShare bundles for your patients with just a few clicks.

Some of the available bundles include:
