NWMPHN education and networking

  • Education and training. NWMPHN offers a calendar of free education and training sessions for primary care professionals. Subscribe to our newsletter for regular updates, and browse our resource library or YouTube channel for webinar recordings.
  • Support, tools and education. General practices and health professionals can access support, tools and education opportunities through NWMPHN’s current tenders
  • We host regular virtual and face-to-face networking events for practice managers and practice nurses. These are listed on our event calendar. You can also join the Basecamp forum to share ideas and learn from peers. More information here.

APNA

The Australian Association of Practice Management (AAPM) is a not-for-profit, national peak body dedicated to supporting effective health care management.

It offers education, resources, networking and events, with most free or discounted for members.

New members receive the Fundamentals of Practice Management short course, developed by UNE Partnerships and AAPM, free of charge.

It comprises 4 modules:

  • human resource management
  • business operations
  • risk, compliance and workplace health and safety
  • leading a team for practice improvement.
