Gain the knowledge to manage patients on PrEP

Pre Exposure Prophyslaxis (PrEP) is an effective HIV prevention strategy in high demand within the community. 

On April 1st 2018, PrEP was listed on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) as a general schedule s85 item. GPs and Nurse Practitioners are now be able to prescribe PrEP, and community pharmacies are able to dispense it.


This session will guide you on how to initiate PrEP with ease, and which populations it is suitable for.

This session will be facilitated by Dr Matt Penn, s100 HIV and Hepatitis B GP prescriber at North Richmond Community Health.
