RACGP Victoria offers MATOD education for practitioners wishing to utilise pharmacotherapy (methadone and buprenorphine) in treatment planning for patients with opioid use disorder.


To be eligible for training, practitioners must be registered with AHPRA and actively practicing in Victoria.


Course Prerequisites: 

Practitioners must complete MATOD Module 1 first. Then during September, set aside two hours to complete Module 2 (Part A) online, before attending the new 4 hr interactive Module 2 workshop (Part B).


This session is presented by MATOD specialist GPs and accredited for 40 Category 1 QI&CPD points for 2017-2019 triennium.
