| Low back pain remains the leading cause of disability worldwide. This webinar, presented by Dr Adrian Traeger, will discuss the primary care approach to diagnosis and management of low back pain endorsed by contemporary international clinical guidelines. It will summarise the current evidence base, and provide practical tips for frontline clinicians. For example, the talk will cover essential clinical skills such as performing a thorough clinical evaluation and finishing the consultation with sound advice and reassurance. Other topics will include problems with over diagnosis of low back pain, and health-system barriers to providing guideline care. |
