Assessment and Management of the Diabetic Foot

Join a 1 hour interactive session where you will learn about managing diabetic foot ulcerations and infections in the face of COVID-19. Speakers will discuss preventing avoidable admissions and amputations through rapid and flexible review via face-to-face and telehealth

Learning outcomes:

• Confidently screen for foot disease and determine risk status
• Utilise updated referral triage and referral guidelines for DFS
• Assist patients to continue to prioritise chronic health condition management, such as diabetic foot disease
• Analyse when to arrange a second opinion from the diabetes foot service via telehealth or other media
