The Community-led Cancer Screening Project (CLCSP) aimed to increase early detection of bowel, breast and cervical cancer. North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN) was one of four lead agencies funded by the Victorian Department Health and Human Services for three years to 2020 to deliver the project.
This document captures data relevant to the project in the NWMPHN catchment. Emphasis is placed on Brimbank as this was identified as a high area of need in the original project documentation. There is also a focus on data from Wyndham as it was identified as being a possible alternative for the placebased Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-led aspect of the project.
