Social inclusion through art program for people in Moonee Valley

The Visual Arts Together program uses the arts to provide a range of wellbeing outcomes including: 

  • forming new friendships 
  • developing confidenceself-esteem and personal capacity  

The group size is kept small, ensuring comfortable and safe interactions between participants as well as artistic guidance and support.  

The program is supported by Moonee Valley City Council (Healthy Ageing) and resumes January 2020. To participate participants must: 

  1. Reside in Moonee Valley; and
  2. Hold a disability pension card; or 
  3. Be 65 years plus and registered (or be willing to register ) with My Aged Care

People with a Health Care Card may also be eligible.
