Northern Health, Austin Health and Eastern Health are receiving electronic referrals from general practice through the HealthLink SmartForms in Best Practice, Genie and MedicalDirector clinical software systems.
SmartForms are easily enabled within your clinical software, allowing GPs to deliver pre-populated eReferrals directly into the above mentioned health services’ patient administration systems.
You can refer to all Northern, Austin and Eastern Health Specialist Clinics. It is free of charge to your practice.
Pre-populating of critical patient health information into the eReferral reduces the requirement for typing, collating and faxing of information. The system allows for attachments to be sent with the eReferral such as pathology and radiology results as well as scanned documents.
A receipt acknowledgement is received within real time following submission of the eReferral and the referral is saved back into the patient record within the clinical software.
HealthLink SmartForms are currently enabled for Australia’s leading GP clinical software vendors and may already be functional in your system.
