Northern Area Mental Health Service (NAMHS) has been successful in obtaining a new purpose-built site for Community Team North, which is currently located at Northern Hospital.
With our imminent move, we have taken the opportunity to rename our clinic. Once at the new location, we will be known as ‘Noogal Clinic’ (pronounced noon-gool – meaning belong in the aboriginal language).
From Thursday 13th June, we will be operating as:

We envisage that the new facility will provide a more modern and comfortable environment for our consumers, families and carers. The new clinic will offer additional consulting and interview rooms and a group activity room.
Community Team North will continue to provide the same services as it does at its current location.
In order to facilitate the relocation, Community Team North will close for a short period, from Friday, 7 June – Wednesday, 12 June. However, we will continue to operate for consumers that require more urgent care during this time, including our usual out-of-hours evening and weekend service.
Once the move is completed, all future appointments will be at the Mill Park location and the clinic based services at Northern Hospital will cease.
