The Royal Melbourne Hospital Emergency Department is now live with the Parkville Electronic Medical Record and new discharge summaries are being sent to GPs for both ED and short stay patients.
The new discharge summaries contain a synopsis of the patient’s episode in the Emergency Department and any relevant results are included.
The discharge summaries are being delivered by both Argus and autofax daily within 24 hours of the patient’s discharge.
