University of Melbourne researchers are gathering opinions on the potential use of traditional and complementary medicine practitioners toward meeting the goals of the Australian Government’s National Preventive Health Strategy 2021-2030 and Australia’s Primary Health Care 10 Year Plan 2022-2032.

We will look at the need and levels of acceptance of greater utilisation of traditional and complementary medicine practitioners, or their integration with the Australian health care system. We will also assess what problems might arise, or be solved, by their greater integration.

Health care providers, administrators, policy developers, academics and the general public in Australia (aged 18+) are invited to complete and share the survey.

Experience with traditional or complementary medicine is not required.

Please help us to understand your (and your patients’) level of interaction with traditional or complementary medicine, and perspectives for or against further integration.

More information can be downloaded from the first page of the survey.
