BreastScreen Victoria recently launched an exciting project called ‘Make Your Screen Debut.’
Five of BreastScreen Victoria’s clients who have recently had their first breast screen are sharing their experiences to encourage others to “Make Your Screen Debut” and start screening from age 50.
The five amazing clients, Irene, Veronica, Kylie, Yianna and Dolly, take the spotlight to tell their stories, from not knowing what to expect, feeling some nerves and then relief after their first appointment— they take us through the quick and easy breast screen process, the convenience, and professionalism of staff.
Their reassuring message to others is, “Put your health centre stage” by having your first breast screen, and continue on with this important, regular health check every two years.
