Funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care and backed by four leading Australian universities (Monash and the Universities of Newcastle, Tasmania and South Australia), the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association’s (APNA) new program builds on the success of the Transition to Practice Program.

About the program

It focuses on matching registered nurses who are in their first five years of practice – and who have recently completed postgraduate studies in mental health nursing – with experienced nurse mentors.

Mentors and mentees also gain access to our exclusive online Community of Practice forum, where they can connect with their peers for added support.

The program runs for six months.
