GP Focus Group Event: HealthPathways Acceptability & Usability
HealthPathways Melbourne are accepting expressions of interest from general practitioners to participate in a focus group.
This focus group will involve an interactive session with 8-10 GPs and GP registrars from the HealthPathways Melbourne catchment and is designed to investigate attitudes towards the HealthPathways product and the tool’s usability.
Attendees will be remunerated for their participation.
Focus group details
Where: North Western Melbourne PHN, 369 Royal Parade, Parkville
When: 6 December 2017, 6.30 pm – 9.30 pm
The focus group will be divided into two sections.
Section 1: a group discussion on end user opinions regarding the product’s appearance, functions, content, efficacy as an aide memoire, reliability, acceptability compared to comparable tools, weaknesses, strengths and opportunities for improvement.
Section 2: each participant will be provided with a laptop and given 4 scenarios designed to test the tool’s usability. Focus group members will be asked to comment on their experience of using HealthPathways to answer clinical and referral questions both on their own and while seeing a simulated patient.
Criteria to attend:
- You work within the North Western or Eastern Melbourne PHN region
- You have not attended a focus group for HealthPathways in 2017
Attendees will be remunerated for their time, a light supper will be provided.
Successful applicants will be contacted by a PHN representative to confirm their participation and provided with further details about the event.
