COVID-19 prevention trial opens for high risk health care workers

The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research is conducting a clinical trial to determine whether the drug hydroxychloroquine can prevent COVID-19. The trial is a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study (the gold standard) and is being conducted in collaboration with major hospitals and health services across Australia.
