The Victorian COVID-19 Vaccinees Collection (VC2) is a collection of biological specimens taken both before and for up to two years after people receive a COVID-19 vaccine. This includes first, second and any third or subsequent ‘booster’ doses. The study is recruiting now, and any Victorian due to receive a COVID vaccine is eligible.

Participants will be asked some basic questions about them and their health. Collected samples (including blood and saliva) will be made available to Victorian researchers who want to answer important questions about the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines.

Visit vc2.org.au to learn more and register your interest in contributing to the study. A flyer (.pdf) is available for general practices and other health services to help promote this important study to patients.

The VC2 is a collaborative study hosted at the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity and is funded by the Victorian Government Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions.
