This workshop is for General Practitioners based in Victoria (Australia) who care for people with a life-limiting illness. Practice Nurses are also welcome to attend.

- Holistic pain assessment & management in palliative care
- Pharmacological & Non-Pharmacological Management of Pain
- Management of pain – routes of administration
- Principles of opioid use: titration, prescribing, breakthrough dosing and rotation of opioids.
Facilitator
Dr Indrajith Jayasinghe is a dual specialist in general medicine and palliative care with interest in neuro-palliative care. Dr Jayasinghe is currently working at Frankston Hospital as a general physician in Hospital Admission Risk Program and Calvary Care Bethlehem as an inpatient palliative consultant.

Workshop Pre-requisite
To maximise learning PEPA offers 6 online GP learning modules. These modules have been developed by palliative care experts and reviewed by clinicians with extensive palliative care experience.
