This stand-alone scientific symposium on the topic of Long COVID is designed for GPs and sponsored by MSD Medical Affairs. This virtual event is for all Australian GPs and will be held on Tuesday, 28th March 2023 from 19:00 - 20:30 (AEDT). The webinar will cover the Scientific Basis for Long COVID, Clinical Presentations/Phenotypes and Management Approach - Practice Points.

Dr. Sue Hookey

Dr. Sue Hookey is Director, General Practice Liaison, Royal Melbourne Hospital and a medical educator with RACGP.

She has been involved with the RMH COVID response and the RMH multidisciplinary Post Covid clinical meeting, providing GP perspectives.

She is passionate about patient centred care and improving outcomes through collaboration and safe handover at the GP/hospital interface.

She has worked in community health, private practice and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health settings.

Dr. Alistair Miller

Alistair Miller is a Respiratory Physician working at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne.

He has had broad experience with COVID providing care for people with COVID-19 in the acute hospital setting, as the previous Clinical Lead of the North West Metro COVID + Care Pathway, and in the RMH Respiratory post-COVID clinic which has run since 2020.

He has contributed to the health pathways modules on acute and long COVID and sits on the Primary and Chronic Care Panel of the National Clinical Evidence Taskforce.
