About this session:

- The sessions will increase your knowledge and confidence in early medical abortion provision, including possible complications in patient presentations. The webinar will include case studies of establishing service provision in community health settings and general practice, including rural settings, examples of managing patient issues and post-procedure presentations. It will also touch on perspectives on supporting pregnant migrant and refugee patients, and the topic of reproductive coercion.
- The discussion will include a Question-and-Answer component, with opportunity to have your questions answered anonymously. Questions can be submitted through registering for the session or live during the panel.
Experts speaking at this event include:
Dr Jane Russell, EACH
A rural GP from Eastern Victoria
Nurse Angie Giasli, Peninsula Health
Expert on reproductive coercion and migrant women's health, Multicultural Centre for Women's Health.
