Implanon NXT Train the Trainer course at SHV consists of 2 hours of online modules and 1.5 hours of live virtual classroom which includes Implanon NXT insertion and removal simulation practice on model arms under supervision (via Zoom).

The Intrauterine Device Insertion Train the Trainer course is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to confidently train other healthcare professionals in the insertion of IUDs. Delivered online, the course is an excellent opportunity for participants who are looking to expand their knowledge and skills in the field. To be eligible to enrol in this course a minimum of 2 years of experience in IUD insertion in Australia and a minimum of 30 previous IUD insertions is needed. This is a RACGP CPD Accredited Activity.
