Alice Bastable, Cervical Cancer Elimination Manager - Cancer Council Manager

Alice oversees Cancer Council Victoria’s Cervical Cancer Elimination Strategy, which is a 5-year project to increase cervical screening participation, address patient-level barriers to assessment and treatment, and increase community confidence and coverage with HPV vaccination.

As a part of this work, she leads work such as community awareness campaigns, community engagement activities and health care professional education about the HPV vaccine. Alice’s team also oversees Cancer Council’s HPV vaccine website.
