Services commissioned under our system of care deliver targeted, appropriate services to a wide range of community and cultural groups at numerous locations across our region.

Rainbow Recovery | Thorne Harbour Health
Rainbow Recovery is an LGBTIQ+ alcohol and other drug service.
Everyone needs help and support at some point in their lives: whether it’s for mental health, sexual health, to address concerns about alcohol and drug use or just someone to talk to.
Thorne Harbour Health services are developed to improve the health and mental well-being of LGBTIQ+ community members, and they work to be there when and where people need them most.
Services include:
- brief interventions
- individual (and family) counselling
- case management and care coordination
- outreach.
Group work
- ReWired – an 8-week program for men who have sex with men addressing methamphetamine use in the context of sex.
- ADMIN – a group for transgender, non-binary and gender diverse people looking to better manage their alcohol and other drug use.
- Drink Limits – an eight-week group for LBQ women who are concerned about their drinking.
Target populations: LGBTIQ+ people and their family and friends.

The Zone | The Zone Alliance (YSAS, Odyssey House, Drummond Street Services)
The Zone is an AOD intersectional care coordination program for young people and their families.
This program assists young people, families and friends who are experiencing concerns related to alcohol and/or other drug use. It offers:
- one-to-one support
- group work support
- virtual support (telehealth)
- day stay rehabilitation.
The service helps clients change the way they think about the substance use and find ways to improve their health and wellbeing.
Target populations: Young people (12 to 25 years old) and their families and significant others experiencing harms associated with alcohol and/or other drug use. It focuses on addressing the needs across diverse communities including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, culturally and linguistically diverse people, LGBTIQ people, people with comorbid AOD and mental health concerns, people experiencing homelessness, refugees and people seeking asylum.

Q Health | Merri Health
An integrated LGBTIQ service that responds to the unique and complex AOD substance use issues and needs of LGBTIQ communities.
People generally receive up to 12 sessions per year in this service.
Target populations:
LGBTIQ communities with AOD substance use issues.
