Practice Managers (PM) Peer Connect

Come along and enjoy a cuppa at the first of our new PM Peer Connect meetings. We plan to bring these meetings to your region. The first meeting will be held in person at the NWMPHN Docklands office. Come along to meet your peers, exchange ideas, and explore fresh solutions whilst hearing the latest updates in General Practice.

Our PM Peer Connect sessions are your go-to space to swap ideas, stay ahead of sector changes, and build real connections with other practice managers in our region. 

In our upcoming session, we’ll be focusing on the Bulk Billing Incentive changes, a topic that’s generating significant interest and discussion across the sector. This session is a chance to understand how the changes may affect your practice, share ideas with fellow Practice Managers, and hear what’s working for others.

We’re also pleased to welcome Dr Paul Mara from QPA, who will be joining us to provide expert insights and answer your questions regarding the upcoming updates to the RACGP standards 6th edition. His presence offers a valuable opportunity to engage directly with someone deeply involved in shaping quality and accreditation frameworks.

Co-facilitating this session will be Leona Edwards. Leona brings over 25 years of hands-on experience as a seasoned Practice Manager, with deep expertise in leading and supporting general practice operations. For the past three years, she has served as the Practice Manager representative on the NWMPHN General Practice Expert Advisory Group (GPEAG), where she has played a key role in shaping strategic initiatives and advocating for the needs of practice managers across the region.
