This course covers the theoretical and practical essentials of managing fractures in primary care.

Key areas include:

Emergency management: initial mobilisation, analgesia and managing shock

Primary care: assessment and treatment plan

Investigations: xray, ultrasound, CT and MRI

Diagnosis, management and referral

Splinting, casting, immobilisation, problems/complications

Post cast application management


This course can be delivered onsite to groups of up to 12 participants.
