This activity was endorsed by the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) and ASHHNA (The Australasian Sexual Health and HIV Nurses Association) for 5 CPD hours.
Developed and presented by nurses, this interactive course will focus on the complexities of HIV care and the nurse’s role, centering on the long-term health and wellbeing of people living with HIV. Topics will include monitoring and adherence issues, ageing with HIV and screening for co-morbidities, and the impact of HIV on quality of life and wellbeing.

Course Components:
This education program will be conducted in two parts:
Part 1: Online Modules
Participants will complete the online modules before attending the facilitated workshop. The online modules will take up to 70 minutes to complete and will be assumed knowledge in the facilitated workshop.
Part 2: Online Facilitated Workshop
The facilitated component will comprise of a 4-hour online interactive workshop consisting of presentations, polls, and case-study group discussions.
