This Final Report contains the Findings and Recommendations of the “Improving access to culturally safe primary health care services during the after hours period for culturally and linguistically diverse communities” project commissioned in June 2020 by North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN) and undertaken by Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria (ECCV) in partnership with Community-Owned Primary Health Enterprises (COPHE).
The key objective of this project was to identify solutions to improve cultural responsiveness of primary health care providers and thus improve access to primary care services for culturally and linguistically diverse communities living within the NWMPHN catchment.
