Two places open up in Good4Mum QI program

Good4Mum is a tested quality improvement (QI) program to reduce the progression to type 2 diabetes among women with a history of gestational diabetes.

The program supports general practices to weave QI into workflow and adds value for staff, clinicians and your community.

Two places have opened up in the 18-month program.

To be eligible, your clinic must use Best Practice or MedicalDirector (not MD Helix) clinical software, and you should employ a practice nurse.

Benefits include:

  • Peer-to-peer and peer-to-expert support for GPs, practice nurses and practice managers.
  • Free QI education and activities associated with RACGP/ACRRM accredited CPD hours.
  • Free access to Future Health Today. a digital QI and clinical decision support platform.
  • A $1000 practice thank you payment, and $200 gift voucher to your nominated Good4Mum practice champion.
  • Gift vouches to staff who participate in optional feedback interviews.
  • Improved management of women at risk of developing diabetes.
