Spectrum Victoria is leading a project to support Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities in Victoria to deal with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the resulting social and economic impacts.

The project will:

  • Provide clear, concise and culturally relevant information to CALD communities presented in innovative ways
  • Create content that is and accessible from a health literacy perspective
  • Focus on empowering and amplifying the voices of community leaders and members- this includes GPs and other health workers

A short survey has been developed to understand what clinicians are hearing from communities and what gaps there are in information currently available. Responses will be used to determine priorities for the type of content produced and how it is delivered to communities.
