Primary Care Engagement Targets by Profession graph
  10 September 2018  NWMPHN

Siggins Miller Consultants undertook engagement with our primary care partners between 16-27 July. This activity is part of the ongoing development of our primary care engagement, leadership and development strategy.

Thank you to everyone who got involved, either in focus groups, phone interviews or by hosting in-practice focus groups. We received an overwhelming response with more than 350 primary care providers involved. Participation by profession was as follows:

  • 97 GPs
  • 77 practice nurses
  • 72 practice managers
  • 62 allied health workers
  • 17 pharmacists
  • 7 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers
  • 2 dentists
  • 19 other stakeholders

Your participation saw our consultation targets well-met, or exceeded, to comprehensively inform the future strategic direction for North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN).

Over the coming months, data analysis will be undertaken as the project moves towards its conclusion at the end of October. Stay tuned for further updates.
