Mercy Health is accepting eReferrals for Specialist Outpatient Services via HealthLink SmartForms.
HealthLink eReferral benefits:
- HealthLink eReferrals are embedded into most GP practice software, making the transition simple and cost-free for general practices.
- HealthLink provides assurance that eReferrals are securely transmitted to Mercy Health, protecting your patient’s privacy.
- Referrers are immediately sent a notification when their referral is received by Mercy Health.
eReferral will simplify the submission of referrals to Mercy Health by auto-populating patient information from your practice management software enabling critical information such as medical history, medications and clinical test results to be attached. HealthLink will guide you through Victorian state-wide referral criteria and is embedded with HealthPathways Melbourne.
HealthLink SmartForms are embedded into leading GP practice software such as Best Practice, Medical Director and Genie; please follow the link to find your software’s tutorial.
Practices without compliant software can register for a MyHealthLink portal licence by completing the online registration form, noting in the comments field that you would like to use eReferral (SmartForms). For assistance, please contact HealthLink support or call 1800 125 036.
