A new fact sheet on selective reporting of antimicrobials is now available.

The factsheet was developed by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) to promote a guideline developed by the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia to support quality reporting of antimicrobials in the Australian context. The guideline is intended to improve clinical care for patients and support antimicrobial stewardship.

The factsheet, complements the work of the Commission and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in relation to antimicrobial stewardship in primary care.

If you have any queries regarding the factsheet or the Commission’s work in relation to antimicrobial stewardship, please email ams@safetyandquality.gov.au
