Everyone has the right to make their own decisions and to receive the support they need to do so.
This includes adults with disability.
The Healthy Discussions Project aims to improve communication between people with disability and health practitioners and is informed by the voices of people with a disability.
We would like the opportunity to discuss this further with you. Currently, we are presenting to Victorian hospitals, health organisations and advocacy groups.
We are very keen to implement this training into all Victorian healthcare networks. This will assist in building the capability of the community and health workforce to understand and respond to the different needs of people with disability.
Presentations can occur online or in person. We are happy to fit in with the needs of your organisation.
If you are interested or would like to know more, please contact Tarli or William at OPA-Projects@justice.vic.gov.au
