The Australian Government Department of Health has recently developed new guidance for the initial assessment and referral of individuals presenting with mental health conditions in primary health care settings (we refer to this as the Guidance).

The Guidance is relevant to GPs and referrers involved in conducting or supporting the assessment or referral of mental health conditions. As such we’d like to invite you to complete a brief survey about your experiences.

The survey is voluntary, will take between 5 – 15 minutes to complete and is completely confidential. Your anonymous responses will be viewed by the team at the University of Melbourne only. If you are interested in being contacted in the future about related research, please leave your contact details at the end of the survey.

Even if you are not aware of the Guidance this is important to know, and we would still appreciate your feedback.
