First 1000 Days portal supports parents through first 1000 days of their child’s life

Children thrive when parents have support and research has shown that the first 1000 days of a child’s life are a time of rapid growth and development which lay the foundations for lifelong health. Parents and carers now have access to valuable resources about looking after yourself, healthy eating and routines and the effect they have on children’s development in the first 1000 days on the First 1000 Days portal.

Developed by leading experts in children’s early development raisingchildren.net.au, with the support of the Commonwealth Department of Social Services, the First 1000 Days portal is an online resource to support parents and carers to give Australian children the best start in life.
