Following the recent amalgamation of Djerriwarrah Health Services and Western Health, we are pleased to announce that from December 2023, our Gynaecology Specialist Clinics service will be expanding across two campuses.
This service will now be available at our Bacchus Marsh Campus located at 10 Turner Street, Baccush Marsh, there will be no change to the service that runs at Joan Kirner Women’s & Children’s Hospital in St Albans.
Going forward, we are introducing a Centralised Referral System. This means all referrals can be sent to one direct referral line. With Gynaecology appointments being allocated to either the Bacchus Marsh Campus or the Joan Kirner Campus.
A centralised system helps ensure that women receive access to care in the most appropriate timeframe.
This centralised referral system will align with the current system we have for our Antenatal Clinics. All referrals for Antenatal Care are received by the central Maternity team and are allocated to either Bacchus Marsh Campus or Joan Kirner Campus.
