Primary Care

We aim to improve access to, and the quality of, general practice and primary health care.

Improving the systems and capacity of the primary care sector, particularly general practice, is central to achieving our vision of improving the health of everyone in our region.

Through education and training, and the implementation of digital health systems, we are working to ensure that primary health care providers are fully supported to meet community needs, delivering better health outcomes for their patients.

We do this by:

• promoting the importance of general practice as a core component of primary health care in our region
• engaging with primary care providers to identify, understand and meet their needs
• providing primary care providers with innovative tools and resources to help them deliver best-practice care.
