This one-day interactive professional development training, informed by current research, provides the information, understanding and skills needed by people working in any health or human service role. It explores the often substantial compounded impacts of diverse traumas on individuals, whole populations and communities, including across generations.

By attending this training, participants will better understand the complexities of intergenerational, collective and historical trauma, particularly in the Australian context with its history of colonisation, marginalisation and cumulative trauma. The training will explore the mechanisms in which trauma is transmitted across and between generations and pathways to healing and resilience.
