Summer preparedness in general practice

Hosted by Murray PHN in collaboration with the Victorian and Tasmanian PHN Alliance. This webinar will cover types of emergencies and disasters that may impact general practice and the importance of emergency planning and training.

Presenter: Wendy O’Meara

Wendy has worked in general practice for the past 26 years. Her many roles include Reception, Practice Nurse and for the past 15 years has worked as a Practice Manager in a large, 24 GP practice in Gisborne Victoria and was instrumental in her practice being awarded the AGPAL Rural Practice of the Year in 2018-2019. She is passionate about general practice and has a thorough understanding of all facets, with a special interest in the MBS and Chronic Disease management along with implementation of new initiatives and quality improvement activities.
