Speaker: Jan Rice
Jan has been heavily involved in wound care since she undertook her 12 months Plastic Surgical Nurse Training program in 1979. Jan has served on Advisory Boards, Key Opinion Leader Groups, Wound Committees both local, National and International. Jan is most comfortable with the approach of principles of care and what can be done in the current situation with what you have. This approach comes from years of volunteer work in resource poor communities abroad and working in aged care and running her own clinic in primary health care setting of a General Practice clinic in Melbourne for 16 years.
