Cohosted by University of Melbourne's Associate Professor Ruth McNair and NWMPHN, this event is to launch Australia's first interactive training module to help GPs care compassionately and effectively for trans patients.

The trans and gender diverse online training module for GPs has been developed by leading clinical and consumer experts in trans health care. It provides participants with practical guidance on best practice in trans care, as well as networks for referral all around Australia.

The launch event will showcase key elements of the module, as well as highlight perspectives of trans and gender diverse patients on their primary care needs.

The module will be freely available and includes self-evaluation questions to assess the learning achieved. It has been endorsed by the Australia and New Zealand Professional Association for Transgender Health.

This launch is being sponsored by ANZPATH.
