Infection Control Day Course for General Practice staff

This is a full day (9-5pm) 8 CPD APNA hours (or 7 if you leave at 4pm because you do not sterilise instruments) education and competency checking as required for accreditation.

Included in the fee is: The prac guide, cleaning policy template, all competency checking materials, certificate, morning tea / lunch with wine

7 or 8 CPD hours available

Learning outcomes:

1. Understanding how transmission of infection can occur in the practice
2. Using competency checking to learn how to perform hand hygiene, use PPE and clean spills
3. Use of disposables, cleaning and sterilising of instruments etc
