North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN) is awaiting formal decisions and further information from the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (DHDA) regarding the establishment of an Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic (EPPC) in our region.
This follows a request for information process held in July 2025, as part of a national expansion that will see 11 new clinics established across Australia, including one in the NWMPHN region.
EPPCs aim to improve diagnosis, treatment and management of endometriosis, pelvic pain, and related conditions such as perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
We understand the importance of this initiative to our community and appreciate the interest shown by local general practices. Once we receive confirmation and further guidance from DHDA, we will promptly circulate updated information and contact all applicants directly.
