North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN) has implemented a Supplier Code of Conduct in line with its commitment to ethical procurement and Modern Slavery compliance.
The new code comes into force on 1 September 2025 and will apply to all new commissioned services contracts and agreements from that date.
The code establishes clear expectations for supplier behaviour across key ethical domains. It aligns with Victorian and Commonwealth government procurement standards, as well as other relevant legislation and policies including the Modern Slavery Act.
From the start date commissioned services suppliers will be required to commit to the code’s ethical standards as a condition of engagement. To formalise this commitment, they must sign and return a commitment letter included in RFx documentation such as a Request for Quote or Request for Tender, or any formal invitation to submit a proposal for the delivery of goods or services.
A standard clause reflecting this requirement will also be incorporated into all supplier agreements to ensure alignment and enforceability.
For further information, please see the NWMPHN Supplier Code of Conduct Fact Sheet. It will form part of all tendering correspondence moving forward.
Please share this information with relevant stakeholders within your organisation and its supply chain partners.
