The University of Wollongong is inviting GPs and general practices to participate in an implementation trial to improve the quality of antibiotic prescribing for acute respiratory infections in Australian general practice.
The trial is part of a five-year program to identify strategies and implement an antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) intervention for the safe reduction of unnecessary antibiotic use in treating acute respiratory tract infections in general practice.
The research is supported by a grant from the Australian Government Medical Research Futures Fund (ID: MRF2029531).
