Dermoscopy for General Practice Program 2020

Victorian GPs can apply for a chance to receive one of 70 free dermatoscopes and training to assist in early detection of skin cancer.

Applications are open for Cancer Council Victoria’s Dermoscopy for General Practice Program 2020.

This program is available for Victorian GP practices to apply for a chance to receive one fully subsidised Heine Delta 20T dermatoscopes and enrolment in the Practical Dermoscopy course offered by the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

The course includes self-paced online modules, clinical case studies, a one-day practical workshop and a final two-hour virtual exam. Completion of the course will result in 30 PRPD points with ACRRM and 40 Category 1 QUI and CPD points with RACGP.

GPs in rural and regional Victoria are strongly encouraged to apply.
