Designed for the disability and palliative care workforce, this forum will help these sectors better understand each other’s work. With a focus on strengthening communication, collaboration and coordination, this full-day event will empower the audience to improve outcomes for individuals living with a disability and life limiting illness.
Moderated by Jacinta Parsons, broadcaster, writer, public speaker and facilitator, the program will include presentations, panel discussions and case studies covering:
- The challenges of accessing a dignified death for people with a disability.
- Access to excellent palliative care when living with a life limiting illness.
- Opportunities to improve workforce connection and collaboration.
