Delivered in partnership by the Victorian, Tasmanian and Adelaide Primary Health Networks, the After Hours in Aged Care webinar series brings together residential aged care staff from across the country to explore practical solutions to current sector challenges.

Join us for this FREE three-part webinar series to support Residential Aged Care Homes (RACHs) to strengthen after-hours care, improve clinical decision-making, and prepare for future models of care.

Session One: Deterioration and Decision-Making After Hours

Topics include:

  • Recognising and responding to deterioration
  • Clinical decision-making under pressure
  • Avoiding unnecessary hospital transfers
  • Aligning practice with policy and expectations

Guest Speaker:

Dr Linda Appiah-Kubi is a Consultant Geriatrician at Western Health with more than 20 years' experience in geriatric medicine across Australia and the UK. Passionate about improving care for older people, Linda is a clinical leader, educator and mentor who works closely with healthcare teams to support high-quality, person-centred care. She also has extensive experience in clinical training, communication, and managing complex care needs for older adults.
