A new BreastScreen Victoria clinic opened in Sunshine on Monday, 11 January 2021, providing better access and convenience to clients thanks to its central location close to shops and amenities.

The new clinic is located at 338-340 Hampshire Crescent, opposite Sunshine Plaza Shopping Centre, in a convenient roadside position with free on-site parking.

If you attend Sunshine Breastscreen for your regular breast screen, please go to the new clinic as the previous clinic at Sunshine Hospital is permanently closed.

The new clinic has state-of-the-art facilities and caring and highly-qualified staff and offers the latest digital imaging technology.

If you’re visiting using public transport, the new clinic is close to nearby bus routes and is a 15-minute walk (1.5km) from Sunshine train station.

About BreastScreen Victoria

BreastScreen Victoria aims to reduce the impact of a breast cancer diagnosis by ensuring the best health outcomes through early detection.

We invite eligible Victorians aged 50−74 to have a free mammogram every two years as they are the group most at risk of developing the disease.

Breast screens are with female radiographer in a safe and friendly environment, and take only 10 minutes to complete. Breast screens are for those with no symptoms and you don’t need a doctor’s referral or Medicare card.
