Cancer Council Victoria is pleased to announce that registrations for the next Nurse Ambassador Program are now open!
The Nurse Ambassador Program provides practice nurses with the latest clinical knowledge about the four national cancer screening programs and viral hepatitis, so they can effectively discuss and endorse cancer screening participation and drive cancer screening uptake.
Nurses will be recognised as a ‘Nurse Cancer Screening Ambassador’ after completing a series of four online webinars and submitting a reflective practice activity.
This program is free and open to all Victorian practice nurses.
The next program will be running July/August 2026 and will be delivered online via Zoom.
